Project 01
In a gate community, in south Florida, this couple found a new start. That started with a home they loved, in a community they wanted to belong & thrive in. When this family purchased this home, they knew it needed some work to make it their own. The client dreamed of a bright coastal modern feel.
We had the entire home painted, as well as the trim & doors. All new lighting was installed, furniture & decor. We decided to keep her beautiful, solid wood, dining room table. By adding new chairs, we went from a farmhouse look to coastal modern! The white tile flooring was in great shape, so we had all the floors regrouted for a modern refresh. We chose a soft white to give the overall modern white look. The entry table is one of my favorites to date!
Project 02
Tucked away in the suburbs, there is a quaint subdivision that features a beautiful two story home. In that home there are with 3 kids, 2 dogs & a busy life. One of the main things the family knew this house needed was an updated kitchen. Their style is mid-century modern and they wanted a white, bright, open kitchen.
We ended up knocking part of a wall out to open it more into the two story great room. This achieved one thing we wanted which was more natural light. Full high quartz backsplashes also added the modern overall feel. This kitchen turned out stunning!
Project 03
Nestled at the top of the hill, overlooking the suburbs and the city, is a beautiful subdivision. All the homes have exquisite attention to details throughout. This one is no exception.
I had worked on the house when the original homeowners built it about 15 years ago. So much of the character still holds true in the design world today.
When this client contacted me, they had been in the home for a while, had a new growing family, and didn’t have the time to give this formal dining room the refresh it needed. We agreed to keep her solid wood dining table but start fresh with everything else. Our designer suggested a smaller buffet cabinet & an oversized mirror instead of the bulky china cabinet. We also added new chairs, decor, lamps to brighten up the space. Custom window treatments were installed.
Project 04
When a relocated from Louisiana to Southern Indiana, brought this family back to its roots, they were all excited to build their dream home. Located in an elite neighborhood known for its woods setting, this family needed some help making it feel like a home, not a house. They wanted to create a basement that featured all that Louisville was known for. The Kentucky Derby & bourbon distillery’s are what came to mind.
Our favorite part of this basement is the distillery prints that were custom sized & printed along with the custom bourbon staves below each print. This wall is one of a kind.
The bar area just needed some love & reorganizing. I found the small green glasses upstairs as i was working on their main floor. When I asked what they were, she explained they were a gift from her husbands family whom lived in Germany. I immediately asked if i could use them at the bar to showcase them better. They were gorgeous, sentimental & needed to be front & center, which they now are.
